Filling up my quota of ideas for today
1. How cool it is to have a micro-blogging service designed only for world travelers, who would love to share their amazing experience with the rest of the world?
Inspiration: Alice by IDEO and a comment on IDEO facebook from a traveler who love to immerse in traveling much more than curl up in a book
2. A children book publishing house which publishes content contributed by the mothers themselves. This reminded me of my mother, who have excellent skills in story telling. She would just made up anything, any stories on the go and told them to me. Believe many other mothers have similar relevant skills like writing and design and inspiration too. If it could help them get some bucks, then fantastic! And c'mon, they would also be ferocious salespeople for the book whose content they contributed.
3. A page for all the inspirational lives
inspiration: Nick http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8ZuKF3dxCY&feature=share
4. A page where a roadmap of ideas --> reality are mapped out. Community-based
It would look something like this
>Problems calling for solution
>Join a discussion
>Adopt an idea
>Join an idea generation room
>The thinking hats
>Refining
>Testing tubes
>Field trips
>Real Product/Campaign/Results...
>Bringing the product to the market/how people have received values from the results of your ideas
It can be based on design thinking process, but all online!
5. A blogging service for people who can't stand working with words - dylexia types? --> simplicity, media, visual based
6. Voice commenting and searching instead of text commenting/searching
7. A network for teachers around the world to develop world-class free content for under privileged kids. However, it would be a million times better if it also provide solution to the lack of internet penetration in certain places --> really have a positive impact on closing the digital divide.
8. A Mission worth taking - website where people can post the next mission that needs to be accomplished.
Inspiration: Khan academy inspires in me the though that The next mission is to teach kids around the world English + get them internet so that they could access to the numerous, high-quality, free content online.
